- Poetic Tragedy is pleased to announce that they will be releasing their debut album "Twilight On The Dawn of Madness" in or around early to late October.  The album will at first be for sale on internet distribution such as iTunes, Rhapshody, and Napster. Eventually it will be available for retail distribution.  The album has 10 great songs, including Letters, Jekyll and Hyde, and One More Saturday Night, plus 7 unreleased songs that pack a solid punch.  When asked in an interview what could be expected in the new release, Matt Lopez lead singer and guitarist said "Our new material which was mainly written by myself have even more originality and you can expect to leave the CD playing on repeat mode which will take you through a roller coaster ride of emotions, and of course that fresh sound that you don't get sick of can be heard straight through every track of the album."

- March 10, 2007 (Long Island, NY) – To celebrate the rebirth of NY band, Poetic Tragedy, a free concert will be held at midnight on March 23, 2007 at Kenny’s Castaways. 

For those who attend the show, they can expect to receive FREE CDs, T-shirts and other merchandise from the band while supplies last.  “It’s all about having fun and meeting the needs of our fans, while staying true to ourselves and letting people know we’re just beginning to shake things up,” states Poetic Tragedy lead singer, Matt Lopez. While a few shows have already taken place, the Kenny’s Castaways concert will kick off a line of upcoming gigs for Poetic Tragedy around the New York area.  Free admission to this show will be granted after 11:30 p.m. with mention of this article.  The concert is 21 and over.

- A talent scout from "The Hitt Music Group" recently contacted Poetic Tragedy. The organization has already managed to place "Letters", "Jekyl & Hyde", and "One More Saturday Night" into two feature films from Warner Brothers and also two indie films. The Hitt Music Group is also sending out a press release to the American Catalogue of PR which branches out to over thousands of press outlets. If you think that is exciting, there is also potential opportunity for placement with a good Management Firm and a Label deal. Thanks be to God for his ultimate grace and thanks to The Hitt Music Group.
